Artist statement;

‘Starting from the first idea, the image is created after an intensive dialogue between myself and the subject. The image will undergo a series of transformations as I apply often, gestural movement reflecting the spontaneity of my thoughts. Each time I start at the same point, with a review of my emotional engagement to the subject – my thoughts and feelings. These are then transferred through the painting, offering the viewer enigmatic challenges and questions.’
