I am an acrylic artist from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. I create vibrant, eye-catching contemporary art including cards, paper paintings, canvas paintings and more recently hand painted pots.

I draw a lot of my inspiration from my local area. I live in the countryside and adore the coast so both feature heavily in my work, whether it’s the scene itself or the wildlife within it. My work is very colourful and bold, but this does not always come from the surrounding landscape. I am always looking at colours and patterns within day-to-day life which feeds into my subconscious and out into my paintings. It brings a lot of fun into what I do.

In more recent work I have explored a variety of subjects such as birds, flowers and even houseplants! Most of my themes have still been landscape based, my favourite subjects have been exploring the coastal work and the countryside. Through this I have built up a large body of paper paintings that can be framed and are ready to inspire canvas pieces.
