I work largely in pastel employing a masking system of my own devising in order to make fine detail possible. Originally from Oxford and Yorkshire with a background in architectural illustration and graphic design. I have now retired to North Norfolk to pursue aesthetic themes including property portraiture, landscape, 'shabby' still life and controlled abstraction. 

Property Portraiture: Usually commissioned photo-realist portraits of much loved homes etc.
Landscape: Wherever I am the landscape inspires.

Shabby still-life: Or 'Dilapitecture@ as I like to call it. A theme looking closely at materials, architectural detail and the usually unloved and passed over pathos to be found in the built environment. 

Controlled Abstraction: In pursuit of colour , shape, texture and inference.
