I grew up in West Suffolk and now live in Felixstowe. I went to Art school first in Ipswich and then St Martin's School of Art in London, but I didn't take up painting until much later in life.

Although my work is often influenced by the local landscape, I do not try to reproduce it. My work is mostly abstract or semi-abstract. I'm passionate about colour, and colour relationships, and I love trying all media, although at the moment I work mostly in acrylic.
