Neil Jones has a degree in illustration and for the last 20 years has been working as a sculptor using copper, steel and mixed media to create linear interpretations of natural forms ranging from insects and reptiles to birds, animals and human figures.

Commissions have included work for Storm Thorgerson, the Isle of Wight Festival and many public and private clients.

Scale has varied from a few cm in height to wall mounted and free-standing sculptures up to 6m high. The linear approach used by Neil reinterprets familiar objects preserving their overall contours, but giving new insights into their form and innate beauty. Neil has a studio in a mediaeval barn at Wickhambrook in Suffolk.
