Patrick Wilkins

Based in Ixworth, Suffolk, Patrick Wilkins is a self taught artist with a background in engineering design and technical illustration. The art of American realist Edward Hopper is a major influence, as are the films of Alfred Hitchcock and Film Noir. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Mall Gallery in London and the Turner Contemporary in Margate. He has won awards at annual exhibitions held by the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA), the UK Coloured Pencil Society (UKCPS) and The Artist Magazine at Patchings. He was featured in Artist and Illustrators magazine in February 2020, and The Artist magazine in April 2023, he has also appeared on Sky Landscape Artist of the Year (Season 7).
