I took up painting later in life. It was something I'd always wanted to try. Something special happened and I uncovered a passion for painting that I hadn't realised was there! I started with watercolour which I enjoyed, but once I took up with oils, I never looked back.

I love the richness, consistency and forgiving nature of the paint. I'm focused primarily with still life as I simply love objects of beauty and the complex challenge of creating a stunning composition, before even putting paint to canvas!
