Based in East Suffolk, Fine Art Photographer Shelley Nott’s growing reputation for her still life photographs comes from her interpretation of the traditional genre but incorporating modern day technology. Collectors of her work span the globe often mixing her photographs with still life paintings.

Using window light, each of her photographs can take many hours (or even days) to create.The natural light gives them a greater depth and exceptional colour and they often include the symbolism of the Dutch Masters. Although she now uses digital photography she brings the practice and ethos she used when behind a large format film camera.

She also does work to commission, often photographing her clients’ favourite flower or food.
