Description: Apples are one of my favourite fruits to paint. There are so many different colours and textures found in apples that I never get bored. I choose very carefully the background colours to compliment the apples.
This hyper-realistic painting a showcasing a beautiful still life with apples. The interesting composition was achieved by dividing the background with contrasting cool blue and warm yellow cloths. For apples I used warm colours ranging from yellow through orange to intensive red. Apples were rendered with great attention to detail. You could almost taste them. To achieve vibrant colours I applied three glazes of acrylic paint.
