A painting inspired by the wild irises known as 'flags' that grow in Kerry. I was brought up in Ireland and they are a colour of my childhood. A return visit for a wedding provided the opportunity to make some sketchbook paintings to use as reference for studio paintings. This original painting is on a canvas panel. The piece is framed in a contemporary style bespoke wood frame painted a soft white. It was recently exhibited with the SWA at the Mall Galleries LONDON. It is ready to hang,
