Recently discovered a passion for painting, now a few years in, I can see how my style has developed. This new found passion hasn't diminished, in fact, quite the opposite. I am truly happiest losing myself for a few hours (OK - often more!) in the garden room which has been converted into a studio, as my husband was worried about the array of oil paint he was discovering splattered in the kitchen. Oops.

I particularly enjoy painting pictures of animals from domestic pets to wild animals, plus my love of rowing, means that there are often rowing pictures on my easel. However I love the beauty of nature so find inspiration in anything and everything. Even the joy of painting my brother, motorbike racing, to celebrate his birthday. I do love colour but not all of my work is quite so effervescent, and hope you find inspiration in life to make you smile.
