My work is thrown on the potter's wheel in porcelain. It is raw glazed and single fired to 1220 C in an electric kiln.

My pots are one off artefacts which retain their basic function.

I make all my own glazes and make lots of glaze tests to achieve the most colourful and vivid surfaces. I use various techniques for decoration - sgraffito, wax resist or carving into the clay.
