Veronica M Worrall

Photography

Veronica explores image making by experimenting with her camera to capture movement, time and natural processes. When making her images she becomes absorbed in the East Anglian landscape of iridescent light, bird song, reeds rustling and surf breaking. Recently Veronica has partnered WITH nature making expressionistic images by burying her prints back in the mud or soil for months.

She prefers to be out in the environment and so keeps post production to a minimum but occasionally she adopts vintage analogue techniques to express her concepts.

Her contemporary experimental photography may not appeal to everyone but has been honed as she studied for a honours degree in photography with the University of the Creative Arts. Her studies not only challenged her conceptual photography but her dissertation research into Climate Change has endorsed her determination to raise awareness of threats to the more remote places of Suffolk Coast and Heaths.

Sudbourne, Suffolk.
